The Ultimate Race Weekend

Today we see, what we hope to be a thrilling Monaco F1 Qualifying on our final race weekend with Sky Sports F1.  Since Sky Sports first started showing Formula 1 back in 2012 we have been there.  We are proud to have played our part in delivering Sky Sports F1 award winning coverage and seen it change and evolve over the last 6 years.  For us this one has been personal, delivering our services to meet our clients’ needs and requirements.  It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with such a talented production and engineering team on Sky Sports F1.  From all of the friendships we have made and worldwide experiences we have now been a part of.  Thank you #SkyF1

A Summer of Cricket with CTV & Sky Sports

We are at Lords with our 50P edit system, with seamless integration into Sky Sports and CTV's UHD test match coverage.  Between the showers, today sees the first day of England v Pakistan in the 2018 Test Series.

With 10Gb connectivity into our Adobe editing system and our bespoke superfast SSD cached storage, we will be working with CTV across the summer as we follow the test match series, right the way through to England vs India on the 7th September at the Kia Oval.

Back to Barca

It's race day and we're back in Barcelona for round 5 of the 2018 Formula 1 World Championship.  We have three dedicated engineers on location, whilst also providing remote support working across numerous projects; including Sky Sports F1 and Presteigne Broadcast for Whisper Films & Channel 4's coverage. 

When it comes to the F1 International TV compound we supply our media management, tapeless knowledge and workflow expertise, to more production companies than anyone else.  Employing the best engineers and technical staff means we keep your media safe and the systems optimised, to allow the productions to run as smoothly as possible.

In a slight change to the norm this weekend, it's been rumored that once again Chris Swan has been dabbling in little bit of voice over - see if you can spot it across this Grandprix weekend.

Dancing On Ice 2018

It's back, The Greatest Show On Ice, Dancing On Ice! 

It's been 4 years since the show has been on our screens and The Collectv are proud to be supplying all edit facilities for ITV Studios, both in London and on location.

Our engineers and media managers are supporting ITV, in running our multiple Avid Nexis Storage systems across both locations and a large number of Avid Symphony's alongside our EVS integration.

It's on air Sunday at 6pm on ITV1 for the next 10 weeks.

Finding Me A Family

Over the last few months we've had the pleasure of working together with NEP for Ricochet on this unique show.

The Collectv provided engineering media managers, equipment and infrastructure for the location records.  This involved streaming hi and lo resolution files in real time, to numerous storage systems for safety and efficiency.  Grouped and checked on location in Avid, the media was ready to go, allowing the editing to start as quickly as possible when it got back to the post production facility.
