Netflix’s Drive to Survive season 2 is now live!

Following a hugely popular first season last year The Collectv collaborated with Box to Box again in 2019 providing on location DIT facilities. A demanding job due to the fast-moving nature of F1 involving a high volume of 4K footage and of course audio that meant efficient backup of data was very important, while still ensuring it was done in a safe and secure manner. In the 2019 season, new challenges meant that our systems had to be flexible across more of the races which was crucial to fitting with productions requirements as and when they changed.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Box to Box on the F1 calendar last year, our engineers were each able to visit some great tracks and locations as well as work with a fantastic crew. It’s jobs like these that keep working at The Collectv challenging and engaging.

We can’t wait to see what Box to Box have achieved in the final edit, especially the Germany episode!
